Nursing Home Santa Helena is a philanthropic entity, with foundation in 1915. The initial objective of the institution was to work as a shelter for homeless people, but as time went by the place has become an option of housing for homeless and needing elderly people.

Nowadays, 150 elderly people live in the nursing home.

All the necessities and carrying of the elderly people are in responsibility of the institution, which takes care of everything: housing, alimentation, medication, clothing and whatever is needed.
